Salvia microphylla Hot Lips

A compact, bushy perennial that can reach a height of 40-60 cm. Its leaves are glossy, with smooth edges and an aromatic scent. Its red-and-white flowers bloom from June to October. When days are long, red is more dominant, while white becomes more dominant as the days get shorter. It needs a sunny spot and well-structured soil. Its water needs are moderate and it tolerates drought well. It can be planted in larger pots, but can also create a unique atmosphere when combined with perennials.
